As a member of the Board of Directors, I am an advocate for providing new, dedicated transportation services for our local seniors to attend our Senior Center.

Offering reliable transportation directly supports our Mission Statement by ensuring our seniors can access the center to enhance their physical, emotional, and social well-being.  I will strive to implement transportation support to better serve our senior community.

I believe that getting older should mean more opportunities, not fewer! I serve on the Portsmouth Senior Center Board because I want to help create a welcoming, energetic place where people connect, learn, laugh, stay active, and feel like they belong. I've spent much of my life bringing people together and helping organizations reach their potential, and I'm excited to bring that same passion to the Senior Center.

As a long-term Portsmouth resident who’s seen the community grow, I value the role our Senior Center plays as a welcoming gathering place where seniors can connect, enjoy activities, and remain involved in our community. I joined the board to help build on that foundation and the Center’s mission of enhancing seniors’ quality of life and supporting their independence. Having experienced health challenges and the difficulty of finding comprehensive, reliable information, I want to help strengthen our digital presence, pursue grants and other funding, and work with local agencies to make the Center a trusted one-stop resource—a place seniors can turn for help finding services, transportation, and opportunities for learning, enjoyment, and connection.”
